Autumn flowers and plants-

This is a motif that combines various autumn wildflowers such as bellflowers, bush clover, cosmos, Japanese anemone, kudzu, silver grass, and balloon flower, along with gentians and chrysanthemums that bloom in the autumn fields. It is often called "Autumn Grass" pattern when featuring all seven flowers, or "Autumn Grass Motif" when only one type of flower is used. With the desire to savor the feel of autumn, especially during the lingering heat of late summer, this pattern has been incorporated into summer kimono, obi, and yukata, allowing wearers to evoke the essence of autumn in their attire.
