Running water-

The flowing water depicted on kimonos and obis is often believed to represent a stream or a brook. However, it can also convey diverse meanings, such as symbolizing the journey of life from a single droplet merging into the vast sea. Common landscape patterns like "Chaya-tsuj," "Gosho-toki Monyo," along with combinations featuring flowing water, such as "Kakitsubata" and "Ayame" patterns, are widely recognized in the world of textile design.
