Mountain road-

The geometric pattern resembling mountain ranges created by jagged lines is commonly known as "yamamichi/yamaji." Sometimes, a distinction is made by calling the acute-angled version "nokogiri-hamon." This pattern is frequently found in decorative borders, and its use extends to the main motifs in order to enhance the overall rhythm and unity of garments such as Noh costumes and kosode sleeves.
